TEDS has been awarded the SR 438 Intersection Improvements, Pedestrian Safety Project!

​October 2022: TEDS, a Stanley Consultants Company, has been awarded the SR 438 Intersections Improvements project. SR 438 is a six-lane road with neighborhoods and an active, walkable community on both sides. This important work will enhance pedestrian safety while removing conflicts with vehicular traffic. It includes five traffic signals and will introduce three new signalized restricted crossing U-Turn (RCUT) designs.. We are looking forward to working with FDOT to design safer mobility for students and other vulnerable road users along this corridor.

TEDS (with RS&H) has been awarded the Signalization, Lighting, and ITS Design for Osceola Parkway Extension 3!!!

July 2022: TEDS, a Stanley Company, is excited to have been awarded the Signalization, Lighting, and ITS design components for CFX’s Osceola Parkway Extension, Section 3. We are excited to be working with our long standing partner RS&H on this new alignment and connection to CR 15, Narcoossee Road.

June 2022: TEDS, a Stanley Company, is excited to have been reselected by FDOT District 1 for their Districtwide Access Management contract.  Over the past 5 years, we have provided prompt response on a variety of projects ranging from urgent data collection efforts to complex access management studies to the review of more than 400 access permit applications.  We look forward to continue working with FDOT D1 staff in the implementation of safe and effective access management solutions, assisting the Department in meaningful results with regards to Target Zero.

TEDS has been awarded the Mast Arm Upgrades

Project for US 41 at I-275 Interchange!!!

June 2022: TEDS, a Stanley Company, is excited to have been awarded the design for traffic signal reconstruction at the interchange of US 41 and I-275 in Manatee County. Project 449720-1 includes new mast arms, improved pedestrian components to improve safety, and resurfacing.  We are excited to work with Highway Safety Devices again on this exciting design/build construction project.

TEDS Traffic Design Department continues to support FDOT District 5!!!

February 2022:  TEDS continues working as a sub-consultant to CONSOR, who was reselected for the District 5 Quality Assurance Review contract, providing review services for projects spanning across the District. Most recently TEDS was issued reviews in Osceola and Seminole Counties to review safety and operations. Since inception, TEDS has been steadfast in its belief that safety is optimized with quality traffic engineering resources.  TEDS has grown its traffic engineer resources with highly qualified, experienced traffic experts.

December 2021:  The City of South Daytona selected TEDS for their Civil and Transportation Engineering Services Contract.  While TEDS has been fortunate to work with South Daytona on past projects, we are excited to provide solutions to new engineering challenges.

November 2021:  Lake County selected TEDS for their on-call Transportation and Traffic Engineering Services Contract.  Having worked with Lake County since 2011, this is our 4th consecutive contract.  We are excited to continue providing innovative, cost-effective, and expedited traffic operational and safety solutions to address the many challenges created by the County’s exciting and continuous growth.

TEDS Data Collection Department continues to support  FDOT District 5!!!

September 2021:  TEDS continues working as a sub-consultant to Atkins on the District 5 TSMO contract, completing data collection tasks spanning across the District. Most recently TEDS was issued a work order collecting data throughout Volusia, Brevard, Seminole, Orange and Lake Counties at 178 signals and along 23 corridors. Since inception, TEDS has been steadfast in its belief that quality data provides the basis of quality traffic studies and / or retiming efforts.  TEDS has grown its data group to take on any size workload, all while maintaining high quality and timely submittals

The City of Orange City has awarded the TEDS team the Contract for General Civil Engineering Services!!!

August 2021:  The City of Orange City selected TEDS for their General Civil Engineering Services Contract.  While TEDS has been fortunate to work with Orange City on multiple projects over the past 6 years, we are excited to provide solutions to new engineering challenges.

City of Edgewater selects TEDS for Design of the SUN Trail Segment from Roberts Road to Dale Street!!!

July 2021: The City of Edgewater selected TEDS to design approximately 4.5 miles of trail serving as a connector link within the St. Johns River-to-Sea Loop Trail network.  Partnering with the FDOT, the project design will be completed through the Shared Use Non-Motorized (SUN) Trail Program.  TEDS has had the pleasure of serving the City on various projects and continuing services contracts over the past 10 years. Project Manager Mikal Hale will lead the effort on this new project.

TEDS has been awarded the Mast Arm Reconstruction Project for US 1 at Fay Boulevard!!!

June 2021: TEDS is excited to have been awarded the design for traffic signal reconstruction at the intersection of US 1 and Fay Boulevard in Brevard County. Project 445587-1 includes new mast arms, improved pedestrian components to improve safety, and drainage modifications.  We are excited to participate in FDOT’s Target Zero Strategic Highway Safety Plan, as we make intersections safer with focused design strategies.

FDOT District 1 has awarded the TEDS team the

Traffic Studies Consultant - Continuing Services Contract!!!

April 2021: TEDS is excited to be selected for this 5-year contract. This is TEDS’ second consecutive selection on this contact, allowing us to continue to serve FDOT District 1 and provide implementable solutions to their traffic related concerns.

March 2021:  We are excited to be part of the Greenman-Pederson, Inc. (GPI) team that was just selected by FDOT District 5 for the design of pedestrian related safety improvements on US 192 in St. Cloud.  The project includes the implementation of two new signalized RCUTS and a mast-arm replacement, all which evolved from a safety study that was prepared by TEDS to identify crash reduction countermeasures with regard to pedestrians crossing US 192. TEDS will be leading the design of the traffic signals, lighting and ITS, as well as providing traffic studies support.

October 2020: TEDS is excited to partner with the HDR team and provide lighting design for Segment 1 of CFX's SR 516 Lake/Orange Connector. The culmination of the three segments will ultimately result in a new connection between US 27, South of Clermont, and

SR 429. This is the 8th major CFX project over the past 6 years for which TEDS has provided transportation design plans.

TEDS has been awarded the FDOT District 5 SR 50 Traffic Signals Design Contract!!!

September 2020:  FDOT District 5 has selected TEDS for traffic design services for FPID: 445693-1-32-01, including two mast arm traffic signal designs and minor roadway design.  TEDS appreciates the confidence FDOT District 5 is showing in the TEDS Team with this selection and looks forward to working with the District and the City of Orlando in bringing this project into fruition.

The County of Volusia has awarded the TEDS team the Professional Engineering & Transportation Planning Contract!!!

September 2020:  TEDS is excited to be selected for our fourth consecutive term by Volusia County for a 3-year Continuing Services Contract.  TEDS takes great pride in supporting Volusia County in addressing their traffic engineering and transportation planning initiatives and appreciates the confidence the County continues to show in TEDS. 

The County of Volusia has awarded the TEDS Team the contract for roadway improvements along Amelia Avenue in DeLand!!!

September 2020:  TEDS was selected to provide roadway design services for the County of Volusia along Amelia Avenue in DeLand.  As a LAP funded project, TEDS completed the safety study that set the groundwork for this project.  Key elements in the project include lane reduction, wider sidewalks, roundabout considerations and traffic signal improvements.

As a 5-year contract, TEDS looks forward to developing a strong relationship with the District and delivering quality projects, on time and within budget.  This project will be under the direction of our Tampa Office Leader, Bob Agrusa, who will be supported by our Tampa and DeBary offices.
